North West Regional Construction Awards 2019 Winners
The 13th annual North West Regional Construction Awards celebrated construction achievements across the region in July 2019. This archive preserves the reported winners, highly commended entries and project teams, using the historical category names.

Context
About the 2019 awards
The ceremony took place at the Titanic Warehouse in Liverpool, with more than 400 guests. The University of Salford hosted the event, which was produced in partnership with Constructing Excellence.
The regional results covered organisations, people and projects, including education, healthcare, infrastructure and regeneration. The contemporary report stated that regional winners would progress to the national Constructing Excellence Awards in London in November 2019.

Highlights from 2019
Campus Whitehaven
Campus Whitehaven received the Integration & Collaborative Working Award, Project of the Year – Civils and the Cumbria sub-regional award. The reported project team included Cumbria County Council, Wates Construction, local schools and design and engineering organisations.
FA Parklife
FA Parklife was recognised as Project of the Year – Building and the Liverpool sub-regional project of the year. The listed team included Kier Construction NW, Liverpool City Council and the Football Foundation.
Rhenus and remediation
The Rhenus entry, described in the results as sustainability via chemical remediation and geotechnical soil stabilisation, won both the Innovation and Sustainability awards. CPUK Civils & Remediation, BWB and The Peel Group were listed as involved.
